"Living in the Future" is a video documentary series which shows the development of Lammas, the UK's first planned Ecovillage. What's really interesting about this series is the visits to other ecovillages which Paul Wimbush, founder of Lammas, takes us on. Seems there is a greater movement back to community and sustainability in Europe than we are familiar with here in the US.

I believe strongly that the only way we are going to survive in the future is going to be in this type of community based living. So as a resource for those looking into what to do to prepare for 2012 and beyond, this is the first step to take. Start considering forming a community of like minded people. It can be your immediate family, friends, and neighbors. The community should have similar goals and be willing to work with each other, helping each other building homes, growing gardens, and simply living in harmony with nature and the natural resources we have.
